JONATHAN GOLLINGS BDS (BRIST) DipImpDent (UCL)- GDC No. 85789
Jonathan graduated from Bristol University in 2005, where he was awarded the BDA medal for clinical dentistry and the Claudius Ash prize in restorative dentistry. Jonathan worked in general practice in Bristol, before moving to Queensland, Australia, where he worked in hospital and private practice. Jonathan has completed four years of post-graduate training being awarded a certificate in advanced restorative dentistry in 2009, and a post-graduate diploma in Implant dentistry in 2016 at the Eastman Dental Institute, London. Jonathan enjoys all aspects of dentistry and aims to deliver a high standard of care, especially in complex prosthetic cases and aesthetic reconstructions. He is able to offer treatment plans tailored to the patient’s needs, and being a dentist who can place dental implants, this greatly widens the scope of restorative options available.
For numerous patients he has provided ‘inman aligner’ treatment and clear aligner braces, which is an exciting revolutionary brace system for front teeth.
Aside from working in practice Jonathan supports the dental charity Dentaid as a member of the board of trustees and has helped them in research projects, specifically on the subject of IOM (infant oral mutilation). In 2004 and 2007 he travelled to Tanzania to deliver dental aid alongside a charity called ‘Bridge2Aid’ and offered a chance to see first hand the huge problem of dental disease in these areas. It is an aim to see communities benefit from the great work dentaid does and this alliance is an exciting venture.
Jonathan enjoys being involved with his local church and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys most things that involve expelling energy and being outdoors, mainly golf, running and windsurfing. He is married to Millie, who also helps with administration at the practice. They have three children – Grace, Rosie and Joshua.
